Yesterday I took eight (8!) giggly girls to Silver Dollar City. Here are the two youngest (Kaylee and Hosanna), enjoying the sights and smells of the candy shop and showing off their lovely "coffee filter flowers" painted in the craft room.
Homeschool graduate, married these 9 years to Tommy, "The Kindest and Best of Men", mommy to my three sweeties: Hosanna, Caleb, Drew...and now a homeschool mom myself! Evangelical Christian. Love good books, music, fellowship, traveling, and yummy food!
I used to journal quite frequently; I have 8 volumes from my teenage years and a few more unfinished. The key phrase there is "used to"! Unfortunately I've gotten quite neglectful of them. Blogging has opened up a new world for me-and not living near my sisters, it provides a fun way for me to give them a glimpse of daily life around here. So welcome!
About this Blog title
I chose to title this blog, "Song in My Heart", because it reminds me of Psalm 13:6 which states:
"I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me." And:
"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." (Prov.4:23)
"For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." (Mat. 12:34)
"Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord..." (Eph. 5:19)

Look's like you all had a lot of FUN!
You are a brave brave woman.
And I feel quite guilty that I wasn't there to help you. :)
