From the "More with Less" cookbook.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine in a large mixing bowl:
3 c whole wheat flour
2 cups flake coconut
2 cups quick oatmeal
3 T sesame seeds
3/4 cup sugar (I use date sugar-adds a nice taste!)
3 T water
5 T cooking oil
Mix well. Bake in 2 or 3 shallow baking pans until browned, about 14 minutes, stirring occasionally to produce crumbles of desired size.
Serve as cold cereal.
OPTIONS:
Add for variety:
raisins
brown sugar
sunflower seeds
nuts
