Little Artists

Hosanna and Caleb spend time each day doing their "artwork". If they're not playing outside, I will often find them at the table surrounded by paper, scissors, crayons of all shapes and sizes, and other odds n' ends. Recently I discovered a marvelous new invention which is like a felt tape that adheres to any surface and never loses it's "stick". We mounted it easily on a blank wall and the kids enjoy changing their artwork display. Here is a recent example of their creativity!

The Bestest Birthday Cake Ever!

On my birthday I was feeling miserable from a tooth infection, so Tom and the kids surprised me by baking a dark chocolate cake. As you can see from the smeared frosting, the kids had a great time! It tasted good, too. Full of love. The best cake ever!

Tom has been working on misc. projects around the house, and here he is getting ready to install ceiling fans. Always, always, there are three curious little people puttering behind him!

Summer Smiles

Hosanna and Caleb are spending large portions of their days outside enjoying the sunshine, riding bikes, swinging, exploring, picking wildflowers, catching various little creatures such as lizards and turtles, helping their Dad work on projects, making sure baby Drew doesn't eat too much dirt, and having a great time!
